Smurf Racing

Where do we start, the vehicle has a past and is well know. But what its new owners partner's in crime Mel and Jamie would like to do, is give it a new lease on life and show you what it's like to own a Comp Truck.

In 2016 Jamie took Mel to Lowmead known as Clarky's Petrolhead Paradise (an off road 4x4 caming place) to be a Marshall for the Lowmead event. Which ended in Jamie convincing Mel to buy a Comp Truck. With heaps of shopping around and multiple offers, they both come to the decision and liking a well known Comp Truck, that was for sale. Multiple arrangements and names where thrown around and deciding on a name and then finding out they were not aloud it. It was back to the drawing board. That's how the team name Smurf Racing came about, with heaps of google searches, with all parties happy even the Mechanic Max.

ABOUT THE VEHICLE

I'm a  TD42 with over 300hp at the wheels. I'v got a 20g UFI turbo, 14mm swaffy pump and custom made W2A twin core intercooler. All Superior solid suspension and steering arms GU steering box, GU braced diff with trail gear, cromemolly cv's. Warn hight mount running 24volt with air free spool and widened drum. Full built exo cage. 37" treps. Front and rear ARB diff locks. L.E.D lights all round. Gme chart plotter gps. I also have my own car trailer, race gear, recover gear and heap loads of spares. Has a couple of dents and scratches which is expected for a comp truck. I have been well looked after and fully serviced after every comp.
